The blue dot name is based on astronomer Carl Sagan’s “Pale Blue Dot” book about the human place in the universe. Carl took the long-range view of earth from space in search for the meaning of what is really important in grand scope of the universe. We use the same philosophy in our designs: taking a grand view of the brand and distilling the most important and relevant elements to provide brand approachability, purpose, and identity.
